I lost my HTC One X Phone recently, or should I say it was stolen. All of my emails, facebook, twitter and other accounts were synced there, good thing I put a password so that they cannot access the contents unless they reset the phone but still I immediately changed all my passwords after the incident.

The first thing that I was concerned was my photos, there were hundreds of pictures of my wife and 2 kids there but I am glad a I have auto backup in Dropbox, all my photos were intact.

Game Of Thrones Season 3 Video Teaser: Three-Eyed Raven Tease

Game of Thrones Season 3 starts March 31, 2013!

Read an excerpt from Book 6: THE WINDS OF WINTER by George R. R. Martin.

Read it at George R.R. Martin Website

I miss Game of Thrones, there was a time when I was consumed by both watching the TV series and reading the books and after reading the excerpt from Winds of Winter, I really miss the writing of Martin, hope he finished the book very soon!

Steve Nash recently had a milestone in his NBA Career, he became just the 5th NBA player to have 10,000 assists. Steve Nash was one of the players I really idolized along with Jason Kidd (because I am a frustrated Point Guard player).

Watch the Top 10 Career Assists Video Highlights of Steve Nash and be amazed!

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. – Matthew 7:7-12

Finally found my backup of some of my blog posts from my old blog. This was my very first blog post, posted on June 14, 2004. I now have been blogging for more than 8 years now! Started blogging by making my own blogging software but now I exclusively use WordPress.

It is nice reading your thoughts from 2004 to 2006. I will be posting some of my old blog posts from time to time.

I just watched the Linkin Park concert yesterday with my sister Mimi, June 15 at the CCP grounds and i am still amazed at their performance, the band was great and the crowd was wild watching/singing/slamming in LPs 1 1/2hr non-stop concert, they performed 19 songs(?), 18 original and 1 cover song by Nine Inch Nails.

I had a Linkin Park Fan web site before called Linkin Park Interactive where you can vote for you best song/album, post reviews/comments and read song lyrics by LP, but i have not updated this site so i shut it down a year ago, maybe in the next few months i’ll update this site and post the link here.

Although i like almost all LP songs, my favorite performance from the concert were from the inside, breaking the habit, faint, numb, in the end and one step closer. Thanks to the organizers, sponsors and to everyone who watched the concert and to Mike, Chester, Brad, Phoenix, Joseph, and Rob, thank you for your exciting performance.

A Dance with Dragons (ADWD) is the 5th book in the A Song of Ice and Fire (ASOIAF) fantasy series by George RR Martin. I missed the POV of the main characters in Book 4, specifically Tyrion, Jon, Bran, Daenerys and also Davos and now they are back in Book 5 after the events in A Storm of Swords (ASOS).

Warning: Spoilers Below

My Favorite Characters in Book 5
-Davos Seaworth
-Barristan Selmy
-Young Griff

ADWD is like a setup for the last 2 books, where a lot of things are happening (Winter is here) and of course a lot of cliffhangers, here are some questions that needs to be answered in Book 6 (The Winds of Winter) and Book 7 (A Dream of Spring).

Major Cliffhangers in Book 5 (and Book 4)
-What will happen to Jon Snow? Is he dead? With this, there will surely be war at the Wall as the supporters of Jon Snow (like Tormund Giantsbane, Aly Karstark, Val and the other Wildlings) will retaliate.
-What will happen to Daenerys and Drogon as they now face Khal Jhago and the Dothraki? Will the Dothraki bow down to Daenerys since she has a dragon or will they attack her? Read the rest of this entry »

Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss

I like reading this book to my 5 year old daughter, each time I read this book, the words hit me straight on, no ifs and buts, the message is loud and clear. The book really says a lot and every adult should read this again and again…

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go…”

To be honest after A Storm of Swords (ASOS), I really had no time to read but because I really want to know what happened to the characters, I read the chapter summaries of Book 4 and 5. But after a few weeks, I knew the chapter summaries were not enough so I started reading A Feast for Crows (AFFC) knowing it was the least favorite of many among the 5 books in the A Song of Ice and Fire (ASOIAF).

Why people do not like Book 4 or AFFC?
-AFFC is different since it focuses only on a few characters and storylines not like the previous 3 books and of course we are missing the POV of some major characters specially Davos, Tyrion, Jon and Daenerys.
-AFFC came after ASOS which was the best book in my opinion that is why expectations were high on Book 4 specially after 5 years of waiting for most die hard fans. (ASOS released in 2000 and AFFC in 2005)
-Although there were some “boring chapters” in AFFC, I think it is still better and more interesting than most Fantasy Novels
-And most were upset because after AFFC, they waited another 6 years for Book 5 A Dance with Dragons (ADWD) which was released only in 2011.

Main Storylines
-A lesson on how not to rule a kingdom by Cersei
-Hunger Games by Brienne
-Family Feud by the Greyjoys
-Redemption by Jaime
-Love story by Sam and Gilly
-King Tommen and Queen Margaery
-Qyburn Experiments
-Training of Arya
-Revenge of Lady Stoneheart
-Secrets of Dorne
-Winter is here
