Just had my first 5K run today at the Run, Run for Children’s Fun 2 in MOA organized by the PTAA (Philippine Travel Agencies Association).
It has been a long time since I ran (or walked sometimes) for 5K , but I finished the race and as a father this is the start of my commitment to having a healthy lifestyle so I can be play with my kids (and grand kids in the future) even if I am already very old. I was supposed to join the other races a couple of months back but my recurring knee injury kept me from joining but I am glad I am able to finish one and will join other races in the next few months.
