Just had my first 5K run today at the Run, Run for Children’s Fun 2 in MOA organized by the PTAA (Philippine Travel Agencies Association).
It has been a long time since I ran (or walked sometimes) for 5K , but I finished the race and as a father this is the start of my commitment to having a healthy lifestyle so I can be play with my kids (and grand kids in the future) even if I am already very old. I was supposed to join the other races a couple of months back but my recurring knee injury kept me from joining but I am glad I am able to finish one and will join other races in the next few months.

Congratulations to my brother-in-law Kevin (ComSci) and sister in-law Yen (FLCD) who both graduated Cum Laude from UP Diliman yesterday. Dinner at Italianni’s Restaurant in Tomas Morato.
I know that Mommy Rose and Daddy Rene (RIP) are proud of you both:)
Please pray also for my little boy Daniel who has fever since yesterday, I hope he gets well tomorrow, otherwise we have to bring him for checkup at the hospital.
Update: Daniel has been diagnosed with a Viral Infection but is getting better now, thanks for all your prayers.

Happy 9th month Birthday to my baby boy, Daniel! Here’s Daniel with his cousin Lucas and Lola when they visited del monte last weekend. Daniel has been a very good boy for the past 9 months:)

sees the billboards about this event, she gets very excited.

Tomorrow will be the start of Bo Sanchez‘ Kerygma Conference 2009, this years theme is Dream Big, Win Big!
I really like this years theme, the title says it all. I have always known that God has big plans for me but before, I was content with having small dreams, but now I am starting to realize again that I have big dreams and God wants me to achieve those dreams.

I am a big fan of Bo Sanchez, (I will reserve a long article about him soon), I have listened to his talks and read his books, even though I have already read most of the wisdom contained in his speeches and books, I think his gift is putting it into words that anyone can understand. Although I was raised Catholic and very religious before, I am in a point whatever your religion does not matter, it is all about having a relationship with God, I came from being religious to being a spiritual person and that made my life a lot better.
I am also a member of Bo’s Truly Rich Club, where he teaches financial literacy to be a Truly Rich person inside and out. You can Join the Club Here. I also subscribed to his GodWhispersClub.com. The daily emails that you’ll be receiving is truly inspiring, it is just like having your daily horoscope but much better:)
Imagine Nation Phototography will be in charge of shooting the event as volunteers, I will be shooting (and listening) on Sunday. I have volunteered in this event for the past 3 years and it is really a good experience attending this event, maybe next year, my wife and I will be attending this event together:)
