Happy Birthday to my father-in-law today, Rene Lorenzana, he died a day after celebrating Mika’s 1st month birthday in 2007 (his first apo). I know you are very proud of your granddaughter Sofia Mikaela and your grandson, Daniel Rene (who we named after you).

I like joining contests and promotions, even though I won just a few times in my life while joining many contests, this does not stop me from joining and having the chance to win.

Congratulations to my youngest sister, Mimi, who is now a doctor of medicine having passed the board exams and had their oath taking yesterday.
I know my Mom is very happy since we now have a doctor in the family, and of course, my kids, who love their Tita Mi very much. Congratulations!

I know most people do not believe in love at first sight, and I also did not until I met Tin for the first time more than 12 years ago.
But I have a different definition of love at first sight than some people, I believe that at that moment I first saw Tin, I got a glimpse of my future, our future together. It was as if time stood still when I first looked at her but it was really my soul traveling to the past, present and future giving me a peek on what lies ahead. What I felt that day, was what I felt when we became a couple exactly 6 years ago and that feeling kept on growing until today and will keep on growing for the rest of my life.
To my wife Tin, Happy 6th year anniversary to us as a couple and almost 5 years of having a happy and blessed married life.

Just had my first 5K run today at the Run, Run for Children’s Fun 2 in MOA organized by the PTAA (Philippine Travel Agencies Association).
It has been a long time since I ran (or walked sometimes) for 5K , but I finished the race and as a father this is the start of my commitment to having a healthy lifestyle so I can be play with my kids (and grand kids in the future) even if I am already very old. I was supposed to join the other races a couple of months back but my recurring knee injury kept me from joining but I am glad I am able to finish one and will join other races in the next few months.

NBA Western Conference Finals: Los Angeles Lakers vs Phoenix Suns
Ron Artest was one of my favorite players before because he seems to play with so much passion (we share the same birthday). But in this series, I was rooting for the underdogs, the Phoenix Suns and I want Steve Nash and Grant Hill to win a championship before they retire, although the series is not yet over, it is difficult for the suns to win 2 straight against the Lakers.
I watched the last second shot of Artest again and again…talk about being at the right place at the right time, but it really is all about the hustle of Ron-ron. Great play!

Eastern Conference Finals: Boston Celtics vs Otlando Magic
Boston leads series 3-2
Game 6 in Boston and Game 7 in Orlando (if needed)
Can the Orlando Magic become the 1st NBA team to comeback from a 3-0 deficit? As they say there is always a first time, and the way Orlando won Game 5, I think it is possible that they can win Game 6 on the road and Game 7 at home. I know Vince Carter still has not delivered a good game in this series, but if Orlando extends the series to Game 7, I hope Vince Carter will redeem himself and carry Orlando to the NBA Finals.

After 6 years of watching my favorite TV series Lost, the show now ends with a beautiful long episode titled “The End”. As they said Lost is really not about the mysteries but about the characters, and the ending shows that.
Thank you to the creator and writers of this show, it was an awesome 6 years.

Lost Season 6: The Final Season
Lost, one of my favorite shows is coming to an end. The final episode will be shown on Sunday, May 23, 2010 (US Time), Monday, May 24 here in the Philippines. Episode 17 will be 2 1/2hrs long and is titled “The End”.

One of my favorite bands, Wolfgang, will have a concert on May 15, 2010 and it is the first Philippine concert to be streamed live on the Internet. Hope to be able to watch it live and shoot also. Visit Wolfgang Plug & Play for more info.
I still remember watching a couple of their live concerts in UP during my college days. I actually have their first 5 albums in Cassette Tape Format somewhere in the house. (I’m getting old already, kids now do not know what is a cassette tape anymore).
