1. Couples
I have encountered a lot of couples and also their families who treated us really well just like family even for just a day. And seeing the couples so much in love makes me think about my own wedding. Also, I cannot forget a sermon way back, a priest asked the guests why are they here?or why were they invited to the wedding? He said its not just to witness the wedding (and eat good food), but to bless the couple and their married life.

2. Food
Most of the time we have the same food as the guests, great buffet food from different caterers. But I got used to eating a full plate in 3-5 minutes because most of the time, that’s the only time we get to eat.

3. Travel
Although the farthest that I traveled because of a wedding was in Tagaytay, it’s nice to be able to travel for free, shoot in new places and it’s also a great opportunity to bond with the team while traveling. My fellow photographers have traveled not just around the Philippines but in other countries as well.

4. Beauty
All the beautiful things about a wedding from the church and reception setup, the gowns, the flowers and other details (and also the bridesmaids and guests)

5. Family
Thank you to my Imagine Nation family. Thank you to our mentor and friend John Mateos Ong and all photographers/videographers/assistants/graphic artists of Imagine Nation who I have worked with. I really learned a lot in my more than 2 years of shooting weddings and prenups, and it helps that everyone was willing to share their knowledge with each other.

I still love Photography, I thought about selling all my gear but decided not to. I’ll be back shooting sometime but maybe in a different field (like architecture/landscapes, sports and/or concert photography). For the meantime, i’ll concentrate on my Web/SEO business first. Thanks everyone!
